Depressing Photos Of Kim Jong-un Trying To Be ‘Normal’ Will Make You Thankful You Have Friends

22647-x595sn.jpg

Kim Jong-un, a man that is all at once the most terrifying political figure of current modern society and also the laughing stock of the entire world.

Both evil overlord and sad lonely man caught up in his own superiority complex. Due to the propaganda powerhouse that he’s moulded North Korea into, the nation occasionally releases photographs of their leader doing (sort of) normal things to humanise him.

Like this most recent snap of him visiting a lubricant factory. For obvious reasons Kim found this hilarious.

Most telling though is the reaction of the man next to him. Terror, confusion, hatred, boredom? There are lots of emotions going off there. In fact, the same can be said of pretty much every over picture of the dictator.

Picture after picture of Kim Jong-un being the only person in the photograph that could be described as happy or involved.

He’s essentially the loneliest man in the entire world, which is a depressing thought but ultimately, that's what happens when you’re the type of person who executes, starves and imprisons not only your enemies but your own people…
