Dark Knight Rises Gets Taiwan Animation Treatment

Batman goes CGI crazy

Dark Knight Rises Gets Taiwan Animation Treatment
26 July 2011

The finale of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy may be a year away, but the trailer for the hugely-anticipated film emerged in the prelude to Harry Potter's own final fight, Harry Potter and The Deathy Hallows: Part 2 last week.

And already, an alternative take on it has emerged, as the genius CGI creators at Next Media Animation (NMA) in Taiwan have created their own version which sees that even the Caped Crusader can't avoid the credit crunch.

NMA have become famous for releasing CGI footage of real events within hours of them happening, in order to illustrate news to their Taiwanese audience. Rather than just filming the aftermath, they can show viewers exactly what occurred.

But they also like to have a little fun, as this crazy trailer illustrates. Who knew Batman was into Catwoman and Robin bedroom activities with a little 'Kapow' factor?
