Chilled Squirrel

Squirrel_HERO_2.jpg

Yesterday we bought you news of a daring squirrel who dodged death by a whisker when he ran out onto a racetrack in front of a speeding Lamborghini. 'Dramatic' doesn't cover it.

Today, the heavily-tailed stars of the rodent world are taking things down a few gears. Chilling out. Enjoying the sun.

This shot was taken by wildlife photographer Joanne Williams who has collected together some of her favourite images for two books showcasing her work. This one was shot in a park in Florida. We'd like to think a cold lager is just out of shot.
