"Charlie bit me. And that wasn't funny, Charlie."

Well, the world begs to differ young man, as the Charlie Bit My Finger viral is approaching a frankly absurd 320 million YouTube views.

To date a host of online oddballs have tampered with the original in the editing room, sometimes with wonderful results, sometimes not so much.

But nobody has tackled a complete re-imagining of the clip. Nobody has taken the action into entirely new genres of film and thrown a budget at it. Until now.

Director Jeff Chan has remade the classic viral, horror film-style as part of the World Wide Short Film Fest. And dark comedy. And musical.

The Horror offering:

Charlie goes musical

And dark comedy...

If you liked them, you'll love this.
