Captain America: The Winter Soldier in 8-Bit

God bless (Captain) America and God bless those 8-bit geniuses at CineFix, who have now given The Winter Soldier a pixel-littered makeover.

All of the Hydra-battling antics from last year’s blockbuster have been given the special retro treatment, including that bike chase, the elevator scrap and of course Cap’s downtown firefight with the titular soviet assassin himself. Menacing even in blurry pixel form.

As an added bonus, there’s even a lovely ‘start over’ screen right before Falcon comes to save the day. Just a shame we’ll never play it for real.

And that soundtrack. Wow.
