There are few more painful things than getting smacked square in the face with a fast travelling football.

But the pain that Maciej Makuszewski felt, having a clearance from goalkeeper Richard Zajac hit him square in the kisser, will surely have been offset by the fact that it resulted in a goal for his side, Lechia Gdansk, against Podbeskidzie in the Polish Ekstraklasa league.

The freak goal was the winner as the match finished 1-0; a glorious strike worthy of winning any game.
