The great pop songs of our time have inspired countless millions across the globe to go on and create their own songs, bands and general works of art.
So it's entirely appropriate that designer and teacher Rafael Hoffmann Maurilio has embarked upon the Rahma Projekt, a self-set task to design a series of posters inspired by the titles and lyrics of his favourite songs.
Maurilio says that the project “was born from the desire to create just for the pleasure of creating. No briefing, no pressure, no client, without pretense”; take a look at our favourites from the series below, check out even more at his Flickr page and keep up to date via Facebook.
