Best basketball shot ever?

basketball.jpg

In our dreams, we've probably scored baskets like this on a nightly basis (while Gisele Bundchen cheers from the side and our childhood nemesis applauds begrudgingly).

But for Ohio high student Austin Groff, this unbelievable backwards halfcourt shot was achieved in his actual non-dream life. After chasing the ball down the court, he found himself with his back to the basket.

Time running out, he launched a last-minute shot that has now turned him into a bit of a viral sensation. Those damn naysayers are disputing the video, claiming it to be false, but think it's true.

Because behind the stinging jealousy, we'd like to believe that next time we're shooting hoops, this might actually be possible. Cue crushing disappointment.
