Beautiful Retro Marvel Magazine Covers

marvel2.jpg

Are you the type who collects old issues of magazines in a corner of your bedroom, "just in case"? Then chances are you'll long for Phil Noto's alternative cover designs for Marvel to join your collection.

Imagined in the style of retro magazine splashes and intimate photo moments, Noto's alternative cover designs for Marvel's February releases are a thing of beauty.

Drawn to mimic the pages of notable publications such as Time and Vogue, Noto's work lends an aspect of realism to the characters without having to explain away their superpowers or depict them clutching an iPod.

Set to go on sale next month, you can see more of Noto's work on his Tumblr account
