Bear v Tiger. Who Wins?

So, you’re sat in your local hostelry with an assortment of buddies and you’re chewing the fat, shooting the breeze and prattling on.

You’ve covered the burning topics of the day: Tranmere Rovers striker Dale Jennings joining German powerhouse Bayern Munich – WTF?; how much more beautiful can Rosie Huntington-Whitely get – none more beautiful; and how you’re looking forward to supping Elbow’s limited edition ale.

And then it comes to the pinnacle of the evening’s discussion: just who would win in a fight between a bear and a tiger? Suggestions are made – “What about the tiger’s lithe ferocity?” “The bear’s hug would smother the tiger” and so on – when you deliver a riposte worthy of the finest barroom orator.

“Well, if the bear – a female bear at that - was protecting her two cubs from a potential rumble with not one, but two tigers, I’m going with the bear. Do not provoke a mother bear. She is the incredible hulk of the animal world.”
