Life-saving though they may be, the humble helmet is far and away the least attractive form of headgear ever made. That is, unless Justin M. Maller has worked his magic on it.

Admittedly, this digital artist's subjects aren't wearing chunky bicycle numbers. Maller has worked his magic on a number of famously-helmeted pop culture icons, including Daft Punk, Darth Vader and a rather incredible Megatron.

Head over to Maller's website to see more of his work, and nab yourself a new desktop wallpaper while you're at it.
