Art Made From Vinyl Records

vinyl hero.jpg

Ah poor old records. The only people in your phonebook still using them are either ironic hipsters or really old.

So it leaves us with plenty of spare vinyl to recycle and rather than let them fester in the corner of a charity shop, why not turn them into art?

Designer Kánya Tamás has done exactly that with a set of records in this cool set of pics. He transformed a bunch of old records into a series of inventive pieces that serve as a fitting send-off to the dying, okay dead, medium.

You can see more of his work here.
