Actors don't really work do they? It's just lots of pretending to be other people. We used to do that all the time when we were six, until we discovered who Super Mario was and promptly lost our imagination altogether.

But action heroes can't pretend. Not the good ones anyway. No-one earns our respect by using a stunt double when their car dives off the cliff.

The following infographic from Millet Sports and Mediaworks separates the action men (and women) from the boys (and girls), highlighting the skills and extreme sports that each actor employs in their various thrilling roles. But which actor is the veritable Swiss Army knife of action? We won't spoil it for you, but safe to say we were surprised the mighty Chuck Norris wasn't in a chart all of his own.
