A long time ago, in a skateshop far, far away... in California.

Santa Cruz Skateboards are the latest group to benefit from the free-and-easy handling of the Star Wars licence, albeit with a much better outcome than those Vodaphone ads.

The collaboration has produced some brilliantly detailed decks, with artwork nodding to Drew Struzan's classic style. The Collector's Edition - featuring Darth Vader, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Boba Fett - comes in a very neat vintage toy inspired blister pack. Various lengths of cruiser boards also get a Star Wars makeover, including a rather special laser cut Darth Vader wooden inlay.

Check out the full range on the Santa Cruz site. There are a limited number of decks available, so move like a T16 if you want to get your hands on one.
