8-Bit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

11.jpg
8-bit Cinema is back, harvesting nostalgia on a pixelated scale once again.

For their latest blocky masterpiece, the canny crew at CineFix have taken on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Thankfully, not Michael Bay’s recent CGI-splattered bastardising of the franchise, but the 1990 cult classic, mixing in characters and set-ups from the cartoons for added effect.

Of course, for those readers of a certain age, it may also remind you of the equally primitive platform if decidedly superb game on the Nintendo which was released around the same time. Not that it was half as easy as it looks here.

8-bit or not, the showdown between Splinter and Shredder is still absolutely epic.
