8-Bit Philosophy does Plato

Once, the only lessons we learnt from video games were that the thumb reflexes possessed by a sleep deprived teen don't last and to always save before you enter the suspiciously empty room.

Now, thanks to Thug Notes' 8-Bit Philosophy, video games have finally gained some valuable sophism. In the first episode of your new favourite pixelated series, 8-Bit Philosophy introduces you to the thoughts of Plato's allegory of the cave.

While it's not strictly a playable experience, we're sure the use of gaming characters and staple sound effects kept us more engrossed in this lesson than any that took place in a classroom.

Here's hoping Nietzsche and Bonhoeffer get a turn soon.
