The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has just hit screens across the world (and gets its US release on May 2nd), so the boys at Cinefix are making up for lost time by 'gamifying' the first installment, to brilliant effect.

Watch the story of Peter Parker unfold in glorious 8-bit (with a little help from 16-bit) complete with spidey leaps and jumps, by watching the video below. As we say every time: what a game this would be if it were real.
