Everyone loves a good action movie and everyone loves cars being thrown all over the place. It's proven scientific fact. Fortunately, the movie Faster, out now on Blu-ray and DVD via Sony Pictures Entertainment, is here to give you your fix for the summer months.
The movie stars Billy Bob Thornton and Dwayne Johnson in a classic 'avenging a wrong by taking the moral high ground...actually no, let's kill lots of people instead' scenario, and features some nifty stunt driving by the character played by Johnson, conveniently called Driver.
Naturally, we at Shortlist say that anything the professionals can do, we can do...badly, but with enthusiasm. So we went up to Santa Pod raceway in Wellingborough (very similar to California) to see if we could learn how to perform a handbrake turn like they do in the movies.
Warning: do not try this at home, especially if you have a three-wheeler.
