The Sun's Website Hacked

The website of The Sun newspaper in the UK, part of News International, has been hacked, apparently by Lulzsec.

The hack made visits to the paper's homepage redirect to a mock story reporting the death of News International boss Ruper Murdoch. LulzSec tweeted: "We have owned Sun/News of the World – that story is simply phase 1 – expect the lulz to flow”

As traffic flooded in Lulzsec's replacement page overloaded and the hackers redirected the hack to their own Twitter feed. Before then it looked as such:
