The world's spiciest burger?

50_alarm_burger.jpg

You might remember, rather fondly we hope, the 100% bacon burger which we recently got a bit drooly over.

It came from genius US burger chain Slater's 50/50 and they've followed it up with what might well be the world's spiciest burger.

The 50 Alarm Burger features a beef patty, sliced jalapenos, three-alarm Colby Jack cheese (which includes habanero peppers, chipotle peppers and more jalapeno peppers), habanero poppers filled with cream cheese and then beer battered and ghost chilli bacon spread.

For those who haven't been reading Chilli Weekly (no that's not really a thing), ghost chillis are ten times hotter than a habanero pepper and will probably cause serious weeping from even the most hardened eater.

In fact, the entire burger is so damn hot that once you've ordered yourself one, you also have to sign a liability release. Just in case your body explodes from the heat. Or something.

Slater's 50/50, open in England now, yeah? Or it'll just get nasty.
