The Periodic Table Of Beer

Beer InfoG.jpg

Beer is a lot like Paul Weller’s back catalogue: some of it you’ll like, some you won’t, and there’s a hell of a lot to get through.

So thank the heavens for this glorious masterwork then, spanning all the major beer types and listing them for one massive periodical table, which is brilliant for anyone looking to become an instant authority on the subject while pretending they're some sort of scientific professional.

Grouped from ales to lagers (yes, there is a discernible difference), drinks distributor Bernick’s has managed to include a slew of major, varying worldwide beers. And you might have already spotted that our transatlantic cousins notch quite drinks on on this list, suggesting America's fearsome rise as craft ale giants shows no sign of slowing down.

And at least the next time you try and explain a craft bottle to a friend, it won’t be ‘that one that had a funny man in a hat drawn on'.
