Revealing World Meat Infographic

meat1.jpg

Meat. Tasty, delicious, meat. If we aren’t taking Luis Suarez-sized bites from some, we’re usually dreaming of taking Luis Suarez-sized bites from some.

Yet with so many varieties available across our planet, where different continents and cultures take different approaches to consuming each type, how much do you really know about the chewy foodstuff?

Do you, for instance, know that Australia is the only country in the world which eats its national emblem? That its neighbours New Zealand have sheep outnumbering people by 20-to-1? Or that it was South Africa who gave us the world’s longest kebab, measuring some 1.27 miles? That’s right miles.

Well now you do - as marinade specialists Flava-it have whipped up this fact sheet to ensure any carnivore worth his table salt is fully clued up on a number of preposterous meat facts.

The only downside being that it's making us very hungry indeed.
