global coffee guide infographic

main1.jpg

Think you know your coffee? You might want to reconsider for a moment.

Created by the bods at Cheapflights.co.uk, this continent-spanning infographic reveals how coffee is drunk across the globe, comprising traditions and economics to give us some tips worth remembering the next time we travel afar.

Furthermore, it also crams in a bucket-load of history, giving us such nuggets as 'Germany banned coffee in 1677 for fear people were spending too much on the beverage'.

Indeed - much like your early morning caffeine fix, it’s one heck of an eye-opener.
