It's the beautiful coming together of two things that the British love: alcohol, and deep-frying ridiculous items.
A couple in Preston have created what's believed to be the world's first deep-fried alcohol: the ultimate decadent/decanted snack.
John Clarkson and his wife Corinne looked to the traditional sherry trifle for inspiration, so the nucleus of the snack is cake sponge soaked in Bailey's, Sidekick or Apple Schapps. Hopefully not all at once. This is then deep fried in the traditional manner, to create a brilliant snack which will make you both fat, and drunk.
The Clarksons tested their creation at a local event, selling them for £3 a pop - and they sold out within hours.
So, if Guinness is a meal in a glass, then clearly this is the tasty dessert.
