7 reasons drinking wine is brilliant for you

Lucky for us, there are numerous reasons for quaffing a glass of wine.

It’s a social lubricant; it’s shorthand for letting people know you’re the sort of cultured guy who holds his own at dinner parties and isn’t averse to book clubs either; it pairs pretty damn well with a lump of bloody meat and a big fat bowl of triple cooked chips.

And if you’re savvy to certain scientific studies, you might also know it also has a range of surprising health benefits too. Ranging from cancer-preventing phenols, mental wellbeing and even eyesight improvement (up yours, carrots), consumed in moderation, it's the drink of champions, and now some of these benefits have been illustrated by Serenta Flowers.
