Remember in 1996 when Steve Redgrave said he would never set foot in a boat again after winning gold in Atlanta, only to renege?

Karl Pilkington has done the same thing. Minus the medals. At the climax of the last series of An Idiot Abroad, he too uttered ‘never again’. But he has just completed a 5,000-mile jaunt with Warwick Davis – for An Idiot Abroad 3. Here, the pair describe the oddest moments of their trip…
