Twin Peaks fans have had a bumpy ride since the news that the beloved cult series was returning for a new series.

Director David Lynch announced the good news in October last year, then announced in April that he'd left due to funding issues, before suddenly performing a U-turn to announce, earlier this month, that it was all back on. And not only just back on: a convention panel featuring Sherilyn Fenn, who played Audrey Horne in the first run, let slip that the new series would feature 18 episodes rather than the nine originally promised.

After all that, fans will probably need a lie down and a cup of something soothing - but we've got just the thing, in the form of this beautiful version of the famous title sequence, made using paper.

It's relaxingly rustic, so sit back, enjoy, look forward to next year and keep your fingers crossed that there are no more hiccups on the way back to Washington.
