This Stranger Things & Twin Peaks soundtrack mashup will haunt your nightmares

Stranger.jpg

On the face of it – small town, odd townsfolk, giant mystery - the world inhabited by those young scamps on Stranger Things isn’t all that dissimilar to another small screen favourite.

No, not Emmerdale; we’re talking of course about Twin Peaks, David Lynch’s thriller from two decades before. One other trademark they share being eerie soundtracks loaded with synth.

Well now, perhaps inevitably, these two soundtracks have clashed, fusing the heavy vibes of the Netflix show with Laura Palmer’s Theme from Twin Peaks. Mixed by Soundcloud user Prom Queen, it’s a hell of a mix.
