Yuletide is well and truly on its way, and it's no different in Springfield, where its most famous residents have revealed this year's festive couch gag.

There's some subtle changes from last year's effort in the rest of the title sequence, with a snowboarding Bart and a Marge-marshalled, Santa's Little Helper-driven sleigh featuring again, all building up to a couch gag which has a certain (cold) air of inevitability.

Check it out below - and then watch this year's festive episode, I Won't Be Home For Christmas; it's being shown in the States on Sunday evening (7th December), with a UK airing due on Christmas Eve at 8:30pm on Sky 1.
