Ricky Gervais has revealed his favourite outtake of all time

Taking to Facebook, Ricky Gervais has just posted his “favourite outtake of all time”, which sees himself and David Earl constantly fluffing a scene for Derek: Series 2 due to uncontrollable fits of laughter – Gervais’s to be exact.

The numerous takes see Kev (Earl) - can of Special Brew in-hand - attempting to give the cameras crew a guided tour of his caravan while Derek (Gervais) watches on from one of the side-sofas. 

Trouble is, Earl then goes off-script, delivering improvised line after line of creepy sex talk, each lewd and overly graphic gag drawing that distinctive cackle from his co-star on the couch. In the end, Gervais simply has to leave, telling Earl he can do some cutaways instead.

We’ll never think of a diseased badger the same way again.
