Red Hot Chili Peppers just rocked out with James Corden on Carpool Karaoke

“Yes, just drop me off over there, just under the bridge…”

Yes, James Corden’s been carpooling with more A-listers for his late night US telly show again, this time inviting none other than Red Hot Chili Peppers to go for a ride and a singsong.

A band well versed in Road Trippin’, Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer strike some real harmonies alongside the Brit behind the wheel, making for one of the best Carpool Karaoke segments so far.

As well as some trademark nakedness, RHCP fans will also be glad to see Kiedis looking in good nick after his recent health scare. Just a shame the same can’t be said of Flea, who, as ever, looks as though he’s been awake for 48hrs drinking nothing but Red Bull and tins of paint. Good job he wasn’t driving.

Following a weekend marred by the mass shooting at Orlando's pulse nightclub – a tragedy also Corden did wonderfully to address with his emotional opening segment at the Tony awards barely 24hrs later – some levity could do us and America the power of good right now.
