New Grand Tour clip shows us what we've all been missing

grandtour1.jpg

There can't be three more relaxed people in the world right now than messrs Clarkson, Hammond and May.

Having sat back and quietly watched the BBC's new Top Gear implode with poor ratings and - rightly, or wrongly - an avalanche of criticism towards lead presenter Chris Evans, they're now perfectly poised to sweep back in with their Grand Tour show.

To show us exactly what we've been missing, they've released this 30 second clip which really doesn't show much, but at the same time shows an awful lot - it's effortless, easy and fun.

And in a similar vein, there was this minute-long discussion about pants which was posted last week:

Other clips of footage include this short video of The Who's Roger Daltrey and Wilko Johnson performing in their big tent:

And this Facebook live video, posted by James May, recorded in the wake of the recording of their first episode, in Johannesburg:

The Grand Tour is scheduled to go out on Amazon Prime this autumn - it's still not known whether it will be released episode-by-episode, or all in one go. However, it doesn't really matter as long as it's good

We're keeping our fingers crossed, but the signs are certainly looking good.
