Jack is back: the first full-length trailer for the new series of 24 has been released and it's business as usual for Bauer.

There's action, guns, explosions and footage of Jack on the Jubilee line: maybe he heads to St Johns Wood to watch some cricket, who knows.

The new series, subtitled Live Another Day, is set in London, will take place over 12 hours rather than the usual 24 - events will still take place in real time, but there will be occasional jumps - and will feature a guest appearance from the none-more-British Stephen Fry as the fictional Prime Minister, Trevor Davies.

Characterwise, look out for CIA head Steve Harris, CIA agent Kate Morgan, James Heller - formerly Secretary of Defence and now President of the United States - together with his daughter Audrey, a former partner of Jack's. Most pleasingly for fans, computing whizz Chloe is back too.

A two-hour premiere is scheduled for May 5th in the US and later in May, on Sky1, in the UK: we can't wait.
