Netflix releases brutal new House of Cards teaser

cards.jpg

Forget 8 November - the date we're most concerned about in the US presidential elections is 4 March.

It's on this Friday (best start thinking up an excuse to clear those weekend plans) that Netflix will release all 13 episodes of its political heavy weight, House of Cards - and if the new teaser is anything to go by, it won't be holding back.

The brutal (and momentarily NSFW) clip sees Frank Underwood deliver a presidential campaign ad with his trademark charm and sparkle - only to have his promises undermined by recaps from his less 'favourable' moments from series past.

America deserves Frank Underwood. And we deserve a weekend free of distractions to enjoy him at his worst.
