Anyone who went to university (even for a day trip) in the year 2004 will remember the effect that Napoleon Dynamite had on students. The surprise indie hit became a cult classic and was endlessly quoted by geeks and by cool kids pretending to be geeks.
Arriving a swift seven years later, the animated series looks set to thrust Vote Pedro t-shirts onto an even younger generation.
The first trailer has been released for the FOX show, set to debut later this year, and we'll have to wait and see whether it's a hit or a miss. The original cast are all back though which bodes well, as does ND singing 'Hold On' by Wilson Phillips.
