Unseen Clarkson Top Gear Footage To Be Aired
16 June 2015

Jeremy Clarkson’s back on Top Gear, albeit briefly.

After all the furore that followed his axing from the landmark motoring show, it now transpires that the presenter has returned to the BBC and recorded a new voiceover for some unseen footage, due to be screened in the coming weeks.

The previously unreleased bits are from the last series and were made shortly before his acrimonious departure from the show. That, in case you’ve forgotten, came after he punched producer Oisin Tymon over an argument about hot food.

This latest Top Gear related news comes just days after Clarkson appeared alongside Chris Evans on the recent TFI Friday special, where he asked the ginger petrol-head if he’d fancy taking the mantle from him on the BBC show, to which Evans teased us all by impishly replying "Never say never".

Which was an awful long way from the original ‘BBC vs Clarkson’ tabloid frenzy that came in the wake of his contract being terminated and the presenter pulling out of a booking on Have I Got News For You - probably for the best considering that he was on the front page of most newspapers at the time. Like two divorced parents finally getting back on speaking terms, it's genuinely great to see Clarkson and the Beeb being able to patch up their differences.

So, whether you’re in the Clarkson camp or just happy at the prospect of some new blood on the show (not over meal disputes), we suggest you keep your eyes peeled for Clarkson's upcoming final episode. It'll be the end of an era.
