Here's what GOT's Battle of the Bastards looks like without special effects

The Battle of the Bastards was one of the best battles we've seen in modern film since the Battle of Helm's Deep was over and the Battle for Middle Earth was about to begin.

The gory glory made exceptional television, even by Game of Thrones' standards, but it did leave us wondering just how they got all those giants and horses to behave themselves.

The answer, of course, was special effects, and a new video from Iloura, the company who created the whole masterpiece, shows exactly how it was done. Check out those horse skeletons...
