'Extreme Musical Chairs' TV show planned

Musical Chairs.jpg

In a move which draws much attention to the fact that there are no original ideas left in the world, US TV network CW is developing a show called Extreme Musical Chairs.

But forget the party game you knew as a child – this is ‘extreme’ musical chairs, remember.

Seemingly, the format will turn the game into an ‘intense physical competition’ based around an indoor obstacle course.

Insert ‘Extreme Pass The Parcel’ gag here…

The format has been coined by reality TV vet Phil Gurin who recently created the show Shark Tank on ABC. Now, if he could combine the two, well that's a show we'd like to see.
