Clint Eastwood to star in a reality show

eastwoods.jpg

It's no secret that we wish Clint Eastwood was our grandfather, father, friend or deadly rival as, no matter what, he's a dependable source of stoicity. But today, something happened.

In our updated reading of The Bible, the moment that Clint decides to star in a reality TV show is in fact the first sign of an impending apocalypse. After today's news, we're now rushing to stock up on bottled water and beans.

The 81-year-old actor/director/producer/legend has agreed to let E! film him and his family for a new show that focuses on their lives as "Hollywood royalty," from, gulp, the producing team behind Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The show will mainly follow his three daughters and his wife as they struggle with having so much money and freedom etc.

Eastwood will remain a minor character who probably offers the odd disapproving look or weeps for what's become of his empire. After his recent film J. Edgar fell short of expectations critically and commercially, it could be a depressing new career for him.

No, it's just dust in our eyes, okay!
