Watch Steve McClaren produce the greatest piece of punditry ever

mcclaren.jpg

When Steve McClaren was standing in the rain at Wembley, with his brolly up, watching England fail to qualify for the 2008 Euros he probably consoled himself with the fact that at least this would be the last time that England would humiliate him in public. At least he'd be out of it now.

How wrong he was.

Working as a pundit for Sky Sports covering the England game against Iceland, he was busy describing how well England had responded to Iceland's sixth minute equaliser from Ragnar Sigurdsson, following Wayne Rooney's penalty opener for the Three Lions. However, the sheer, excruciating glory of what happened next cannot be described with mere words...

Watch, if you dare:

Poor, poor Steve.

Mind you, it's still not as embarrassing as this.
