The greatest Twitter reactions to England's win over Wales

ENG.jpg

Exhausting.

Never mind Wayne Rooney’s wheezing chest, England fans will also have felt out of breath as the Three Lions came roaring back from behind to beat Wales 2-1 in the European Championships courtesy of a dramatic strike from Daniel Sturridge deep into injury time.

Marking the side’s first win in Group B - not to mention their first in a major tournament since June 2012 – there were plenty of talking points in the aftermath, and, as usual, Twitter was the place to find them.

From the daft to the dreamlike, here are the best of the reactions.

The MOTD pundits kept it completely impartial

Even the FA got sassy

Passion became a regular theme (sorry, Gareth)

Although possibly too much passion

Roy answered his haterz (sort of)

Just spare a thought for the cleaners

Sturridge: super sub
