The 50 most over-used football pundit phrases

In football, commentating very often makes no sense whatsoever.

Left feet are 'cultured', diminutive playmakers are ‘magicians’ and blundersome defenders are ‘schoolboys’ – and if this sounds familiar, you’ll love this list, compiling the 50 most over-used clichés ever.

Whittled down by a focus group commissioned by MobileSlots.com, the fans came up with half a century of the very biggest punditry howlers, some misjudged idioms, others the sort of metaphors which give grown men the shivers.
