Lacrosse and the world of mega goals

lacrosse.jpg

The world of Lacrosse is a very foreign place to us. For years we thought it was a French tennis label but apparently it's a sport that our American friends love and has similarities to toddlers' favourite, catch. (JOKE! JOKE!)

Defenseman Matt Borda shoots from behind his own goal to secure a win with 10 seconds remaining. Final score 10-8 to Gonzaga.

Indeed in a giant doff of the cap we've compiled some of our all time favourite long distance sporting strikes, starting with Borda's brilliance...
