Justin Rose just hit the first hole in one in Olympic Games history

Rose.jpg

With something of an air of Bart Simpson unwrapping Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge, Olympic Golf has all but been written off before it’s even begun at Rio 2016.

Devoid of top talent they said (the world’s top five pulled out citing concerns about the zika virus). A corporate ploy to spread the game globally for mostly financial reasons they argued. Well they'd better start to eat those words…

Team GB’s Justin Rose has just made the first hole in one at an Olympic Games, acing the par-three fourth on his maiden round in Rio, the major winner who has his eyes firmly set on Gold.

Watch this clip and then watch it again. Holy moly it’s good.
