John Barnes Returns to the Rap Game

BarnesHERO.jpg

Forget the Stone Roses, this is the moment everyone has been waiting for since 1990: the return to rapping of John Barnes.

The man responsible for the Anfield Rap, as well as that seminal middle 8 in New Order's World in Motion, picked up the mic again to lay down Rapper's Delight.

Sadly the scene for this sensational comeback wasn't its rightful place of Wembley Stadium, in front of 80,000 adoring fans, but at some sort of after-dinner speaking engagement soundcheck.

Oh well, even the Roses started back in Warrington we suppose.
