Finish first to win a holiday and wetsuit

While of course, it’s not all about the winning and triathlon novices are just as welcome as the regulars, it wouldn’t be right if the fastest finisher didn’t get a prize for their toils.

To congratulate the person whose strength, speed and stamina – that which they will have undoubtedly sweated and grimaced to improve and rise to the challenge – proved to be the best on the day, we’re giving them a holiday with Natural Retreats and a wetsuit from Blueseventy.

The winner will receive a congratulatory winner’s letter and gift certificate – which you will need to use to book your stay - for Natural Retreats Yorkshire Dales, which is set in 55 acres of countryside in Swaledale boasting great walks and cycling routes. You’ll enjoy a three-night stay in a luxurious self-catering lodge, which boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, wood-burning stoves and a modern open plan design.

As for the Blueseventy wetsuit, the winner will be given a Fusion Full Suit worth £245. It has a unique buoyancy profile with thicker leg panels to help elevate them, plus 1.5mm A-Flex arms and soft Yamamoto neoprene which means that the suit is super flexible, while still delivering on the best durability and comfort.

So, if you weren’t already planning a training plan for how you can win the race, you’d best get on it now.
