Balotelli in Showboat Fail

One of the players football fans are most looking forward to being reacquainted with in August is Mario Balotelli. There's never a dull moment in the world of Man City's 20-year-old Italian forward, and that goes for the off season too.

In a friendly against LA Galaxy he was substituted for this woeful attempt at a showboat when through on goal.

Manager Roberto Mancini was furious with the unprofessional manner in which Balotelli tried to score and decided he would play no further part in the game. Mario, of course, threw a hefty wobbly.

Roll on the start of the season on August 13th.
