This video of Adele's Hello without autotune is incredible

1.jpg

Did Adele even need to say Hello?

With her classy comeback single now the second fastest video to reach 100m views on YouTube, it’s almost as if the cockney songstress never left.

It's another rich and assured vocal performance all right, but if you're wondering how much autotune has been used, someone’s just let the cat out of the bag.

And judging by this leaked video which strips away the autotune to reveal Adele’s raw voice, that cat is being strangled.

…OK, you got us – it’s not real, but much like the recent Lionel Richie mashup, it’s frankly hilarious.
