The Mercury Nominees Playlist

So, we didn't do too badly at predicting the Mercury Prize nominees, with a solid 5 out of 12 correctly called.

This year's list definitely goes for the obscure over the well-known, and will hopefully go some way to giving these artists some well-deserved exposure.

In particular, our Track of the Day blog The ShortListen has supported Royal Blood, Jungle and Young Fathers whilst premiering an Anna Calvi video, so it would be great to see one of those win.

But as for a prediction - we don't have a clue; simply put on the playlist below for a taste of each of the nominees, and see which one would get your vote.
