Sam Smith Reworks Lay Me Down For Comic Relief

Yep, another Comic Relief music spectacular. But fear not - there's not an ex-footballer or duck-faced boy band in sight. 

To help raise funds for this year's Comic Relief appeal, English warbler Sam Smith has collaborated with another contemporary musician, John Legend, asking the American to, ahem, lay down some sweet vocal and fine piano playing for a re-do of Smith's mega hit Lay Me Down.

The duo give an almighty rendition of the song, released as the lead single from debut album In The Lonely Hour and one that really will have you teary-eyed and reaching for the credit card. Please do donate to the cause and ensure you check out the exceptional performance below.

These two aren't ordinary people, clearly.
